Dæmons Launches Open Beta With Airdrop Rewards

The turn-based web3 game Dæmons has launched its open beta. The event runs from June 10 to June 18. During this time, players can earn airdrop points that will count toward the future distribution of the $DMN token. The open beta lasts for 84 hours. Players can join by minting a pet and completing in-game and social activities to collect points. The testing is available through supported blockchain testnets.

Dæmons is inspired by virtual pet games and battle-focused titles. It blends those familiar ideas with blockchain features. This beta lets players try new features and help with the development process. The team behind Dæmons uses a play-to-airdrop system, which rewards players with Soul Points. These points are the key to future airdrop rewards linked to the $DMN token.

This beta brings new features that improve the experience. Players now have access to real-time matchmaking, quests, feeding mechanics, and character evolutions. Characters can grow from Rank 1 to Rank 2. There are also updates to post-battle screens that make everything clearer and easier to follow. Two new characters have been added for testing. This is the first time these characters have been shown in the game.

One of the biggest new features is the Account Achievements system. It tracks what players do and sets structured goals. Completing these achievements earns players more Soul Points. These points feed directly into airdrop rewards. Dæmons supports multiple blockchain testnets. Players can join PolygonSolanaBase, Soneium, Ancient8, Monad, and Sonic. The project’s use of several blockchains shows its commitment to an omnichain approach.

During this beta, players can collect 6,000 Soul Points just by getting started. More than 20,000 points are available through beta-specific achievements. On top of that, 0.4 percent of the total $DMN token supply has been set aside for rewards. Players can earn tokens by joining as individuals, as part of clans, or by creating content. There is also a $500 prize pool set aside for community content, bug reports, and other spot challenges.

How to Join and Earn Points

Joining the open beta is simple. Players need to use official referral links shared by the Dæmons team on X. Each blockchain has its own link. There’s also a Chain Clan link shared by the developers. Once players pick a chain, they go straight to the browser-based platform.

Before jumping in, players connect their crypto wallet. They also need to sign up for the Airdrop Points Program and connect the same wallet to the quest dashboard. This unlocks social quests and tracks airdrop progress. Players then mint a pet. Each pet is based on the player’s wallet activity. Players can also choose an accessory like a Compass or Unicorn Horn. Since the mint happens on testnets, players may need testnet tokens. These can be collected from a faucet.

After minting, players start with 6,000 Soul Points. From there, points are earned by playing and completing quests. Dæmons features turn-based battles between 2D pets. Players can go up against other players or AI-controlled enemies. The AI adapts to the player’s on-chain activity and content interests. There’s also an AI-powered chat system. This lets players talk to their pets and adds more fun to the training experience.

Dæmons is built as an omnichain game. This means it works across many blockchain networks. The project uses ONFT (Omnichain Non-Fungible Token) technology from LayerZero. It allows NFTs to move between LayerZero-supported chains. The team has also planned for chains that don’t yet support LayerZero. This prepares Dæmons for future expansion.

The focus is on giving players the freedom to play on their favorite chain. Many new web3 games now move toward this cross-chain model. It gives players more control and makes ownership more meaningful. With Dæmons being browser-based, players don’t have to download anything. They can jump in easily from any supported device.

According to the team’s public roadmap, the full release of Dæmons is coming in July. The Token Generation Event (TGE) for $DMN is expected in September 2025. Details about how the token will work and be distributed will come later. The team has said that more documents and information will be shared after the token launch.

For now, this beta gives players the chance to get involved early. They can test features, give feedback, and collect rewards. It’s a key moment for both the community and the development of the game.
